Betty Hebert Daley

A 12:00 Noon Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Scott for Betty Hebert Daley, 88, who passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Reverend Howard Blessing will conduct the graveside services. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SCOTT location on Thursday 10:00 AM until time of services. A Rosary will be prayed on Thursday at 10:30 AM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home. She is survived by her son Rickey Daley and wife, Mairon Difulco Daley; granddaughter, Jeanne Daley Carter and husband, Charles Larry Carter, Jr.; great-grandchildren, John Charles Carter, Catherine Camille Carter, Joseph Jameson Carter, Audrey Grace Carter and Genevieve Celeste Carter; nieces, Verna Lou Broussard, Sandra Pellerin, and Jeannette Lewis; nephews, Johnny Badeaux, Bobby Badeaux, and Shelton Duhon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elie Hebert and Emma Prejean Hebert; husband, John R. Daley; brother, Caffery Hebert and wife, Selma Hebert; sisters, Grace H. Sonnier, and husband Alfred Sonnier, Lena H. Duhon and husband, Wilfred Duhon. Betty was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on November 12, 1933 and was a graduate of Scott High School. She enjoyed her career as a bookkeeper for Dalferes Cigar and Tobacco Company, where she worked for 40 years. Pallbearers will be Bobby Badeaux, Johnny Badeaux, Shelton Duhon, Kentry Prather, Mike Peterman, and Luke Difulco, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Whistler, Herman Touchet and Charles Carter. Memorial contributions can be made in Betty's name to Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, P. O. Box 610, Scott, Louisiana, 70583.
