Betty J. Ledet

Catholic Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 22, 2022 at in Martin & Castille's La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette for Mrs. Betty J. Ledet, 78, who passed away Monday evening, April 18, 2022 at her residence in Youngsville. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE location on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum. Deacon Keith Duhon will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include her husband, Art Ledet; her son, Bryant Wayne Ellender and wife Patty; and her daughter, Alissa Jean; her grandchildren, Paula Jean, Megan Manly and husband Tyler, Alexa Guidry and husband Tim, Thad Ellender, Timothy Ellender, Anthony Ellender, Drew Ellender, Trinity Ellender and Abby Ellender; and her great-grandchildren, Seth Jean, Zach Jean, Paisley Guidry, Tilley Guidry and Hank Guidry. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Estelle Duhon; and her sister, Geraldine "Geri" Dugas. Betty was a strong believer in her faith and she was a kind, patient and loving woman. Some of her hobbies included knitting, quilting, relaxing at the casino and going antiquing while going on vacation. Although Betty had many interests in life, her true passion in life were her pets and her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and memories of her will be cherished for a lifetime. Pallbearers will be Anthony Ellender, Thad Ellender, Andrew Ellender, Timothy Ellender, Justin Ledet and Neal Ledet. Memorial contributions can be made in Mrs. Betty J.
