Caroline Paige Emert Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Broussard, for our precious Caroline Paige Emert, who was received in Our Lord's loving arms on Sunday, May 15, 2022. Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Michael Delcambre, Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Broussard, will conduct the funeral services. Caroline was survived by her parents, Tyler and Paige Vallot Emert; her sisters, Audrey Grace and Alyse Jane Emert; maternal grandparents, Milli Hernandez Vallot and Troy Vallot of Youngsville; paternal grandparents, Carolyn Walker Castille and Jay Castille of Carencro and Tina Guilbeau Emert and Marwin Emert of Broussard; and all great grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Caroline was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, Audrey Quebedeaux Vallot and Russell “Rock” Vallot and paternal great grandparents, Wendel Truell Emert, J.L. Castille, Sr. and Mildred Romero Guilbeau and Roy Guilbeau and two cousins, Joshua Baudoin and Hunter Lopez. Caroline was born in Lafayette, LA on Friday, May 13th at 1:40 P.M., and passed away on Sunday, May 15th at 3:03 A.M. after 37 hours of giving her family everlasting love. Caroline's life has and will continue to leave a loving impact here on earth and in heaven. She knew nothing but love, peace and comfort. Caroline spent her entire life in the warmth of those who loved her, listening to the voices of her family. Caroline was so strong she was able to meet her big sisters and show eternal love. After the beautiful time spent here on earth she passed away peacefully in her mother’s arms. Pallbearers will be Tyler Emert and Marwin Emert. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE location on Wednesday from 8:00 A.M. until time of services. A Rosary will be prayed on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. in Martin & Castille Funeral Home.
