Chad Richard Vidrine Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held for Mr. Chad Richard Vidrine, age 47 at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 24, 2020 at La Fleur de Lis Chapel, at Martin and Castile's FARREL ST. location. Chad went home to be with the Lord Jesus on Thursday, February 20, 2020, at his residence in Youngsville while surrounded by his loving family. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE location on Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Monday, February 24, 2020 from 10:00 AM until time of services. Reverend Randy Dugas, Pastor of Our Saviors Church will conduct the funeral services. Chad was blessed with the gift of loyalty and a servants heart. He was dedicated to the Oil and Gas industry for 27 years. More recently, Chad was born again and he fell in love with the church family at Our Saviors Church. He had an ability to create an atmosphere of celebration for family and friends. He showed his love for others by stirring a pot of his favorite Cajun cuisines. He enjoyed tailgating at Tiger Stadium and was a proud member of the Tiger Athletic Foundation for 18 years. He was meticulous about his yard and landscaping and he cared for it until the very end. He liked to relax and vacation in the Caribbean. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and memories of him will be cherished for a lifetime. Survivors include his loving wife of eight years, Mrs. Pixie Hutchinson Vidrine of Youngsville; his son, Cameron R. Vidrine and his wife Macey of New Iberia, his step-daughter, Lauren Sumrall of New Iberia, his step son, Hutch Talbot and his step-daughter, Brooke Talbot of Youngsville; his grandson, Carson R. Vidrine; his parents, Mr. Karl Wayne Vidrine and Mrs. Concetta Vidrine; his brother, Mitch Vidrine and his wife Ida; his sister, Missi Keeton and husband, Moe Alghubari and his brother Jason Vidrine. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. Enoza Vidrine and Mrs. Lillian Guillory Vidrine and his maternal grandparents, Mr. E.O. Ray Simon and Mrs. Camille Muffoletto and his god-father, Michael Vidrine. Upholding the honor of pallbearers will be Craig Brister, Doug Broussard, Chad Myers, Mike Powell and Brad Landry. A heartfelt appreciation is extended by the Vidrine family to the nurse from of Heart of Hospice, Rachel Spoon for her compassion, kindness and loving care given to Mr. Vidrine during his time of need.
