Private graveside services will be held in St. John Cemetery in Lafayette, for our precious baby Charles "Charlie" Louis Saltzman, who was received in Our Savior's loving arms on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Reverend Andrew Schumacher, Pastor of St. John the Evangelist Church in Mermentau, will conduct the graveside services. Survivors include his parents, Keith and Erin Saltzman; his sister, Kendall Marie Saltzman; his grandparents, Delphine Saltzman, and Donald and Stephanie Higginbotham; his great-grandparents Mervis and Wilda Saltzman, Therese Higginbotham, and Alva Jane Mouton; his aunts and uncles, Kyle Saltzman and his wife, Candice, Kevin Saltzman and his wife, Allison, Brennan Higginbotham and his wife, Kaitlyn, and Megan Engro and her husband, Sam; his cousins, Eli, JonLuc, Evangeline, Jolie, Graham, Thomas, Clay, and Jack. Charlie was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Kendall Keith Saltzman; his paternal great-grandmother, Lucy Conques; his maternal great-grandfathers, Thomas Higginbotham, and Jules Carrol Mouton. Pallbearers will be Kyle Saltzman, Kevin Saltzman, Brennan Higginbotham, and Samuel Engro. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Alleman, Lance Campbell, and Neil Romero.
