Claudy Dell Hebert Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Crossroads Church in Lafayette for Claudy Dell Hebert, 70, who passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at her residence in Lafayette. Interment will be in Kilbourne Cemetery in Kilbourne, Louisiana. Pastor Jeff Ables, Pastor of Crossroads Church in Lafayette, will conduct the funeral services. Pastor David Baudoin will also conduct the funeral services. Survivors include her loving husband of 38 years, Gerald Hebert; son, Tony Louviere and his wife Connie; stepdaughter, Michelle Marie Hebert; five brothers, Danny Creech, Charles Creech, Andrew Creech, Marvin Creech, and Oscar Creech. She was preceded in death by parents, Oscar Wise Creech and Claudy Mae Clark Creech; two sisters, Francis Poland and Betty Phillips; six brothers, Arlesed Creech, Carles Creech, Bobby Creech, Lonnie Creech, Harles Creech, and William Henry Creech. Claudy loved helping others, especially the elderly, for two and a half years at a nursing home in the area. She was an avid advocate and volunteer for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Athletics where in 2017 she was recognized for her contributions to the athletic department. Throughout her life, Claudy worked as a director of sales in the hotel and hospitality industry for many years where she represented Marriott Hotel Brand nationally and internationally. Pallbearers will be Hollis Conway, Theo Sliman, Pastor Eric Treuil, Devin Lantier, Ben Kaszeta, and Les Pitre. The family requests that visitation be observed at Crossroads Church in Lafayette on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of services. A heartfelt appreciation is extended by the Hebert family to the nurses and staff of Hospice of Acadiana and Claudy’s two caregivers, Heather and Denise.
