Elizabeth Torrey (Lizzy) LeJeune

January 10, 1986 - February 13, 2021

Elizabeth Torrey LeJeune, age 35, of Lafayette, Louisiana passed away on February 13, 2021. She lived an independent life surrounded by the love of close friends and her pet-a beautiful cat named Zee. She was a lover of technology and was kind to all animals. Her close friends felt loved and cherished. Lizzy was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on January 10, 1986. She was the daughter of the late Brice Francis LeJeune and Judith Joyce LeJeune (Gomila). She lived in Lafayette and Youngsville and worked as a Media Support Service Advisor for Apple. In addition, she passed her time here as a barista, piercing apprentice, receptionist, dispatcher, and teacher. She graduated high school from Comeaux in Lafayette and continued her education in Psychology at Northwestern State University and the University of Phoenix all while working a full-time job. She is survived by her cat Zee, her sister Yvonne Louise Matthews (LeJeune), her brother-in-law Roger Amet Matthews, and her nephew Roger Amet Matthews Jr (AJ). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends that she considered family. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and loved them every day. She enjoyed comedy, watching movies, video games, listening to music, and spending time with her friends. She will be missed by all. She will be laid to rest on Monday, February 22, 2021, at the Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
