Holly Lanclos Stroud, age 65, died on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center. Survivors include her beloved husband, Glen “Rooster” Stroud of Lafayette; one son, Timothy James Wolfgang Stroud of Lafayette; one daughter, Shelley Claire Marie Stroud Pratt and her husband, Tyler Joseph Pratt of Lafayette; her beloved grandchildren, Valerie Anne Stroud and Carson James Stroud; two sisters, Anne Landry and Barbara Hebert; and two brothers, Steve Lanclos and Marc Lanclos. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Lanclos and Clarice LaDouceur Lanclos. If you knew Holly you were very blessed. Even after 36 years of teaching, she is still teaching us today. All she ask is that we “Do not mourn my death, celebrate my life”!
