Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020, at 1:00 PM in Martin & Castille's La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette, for Jeffrey Lynn Broussard, 62, who passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, with loved ones by his side. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Reverend Michael Keith Landry, Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in New Iberia, will conduct the funeral services. To access and join the group, please click on the following link:https://www.facebook.com/groups/jeffreylynnbroussard (The video will appear at service time on Monday - 1:00 PM) Survivors include his beloved wife of 44 years, Linda Turner Broussard; his three daughters, Jamie Lynn Dryden and her husband, David, Brandy Anne Sizemore and her husband, Jeffrey, and Elizabeth Broussard Gomez and her husband, Ryan; his father, Percy Broussard; his grandchildren, Courtney Michelle Verret, Drew Anthony Verret, Luke Dryden, Camille Grace Gomez, Eli Ryan Gomez, Reese Catherine Sizemore, and Eden Claire Sizemore, and his sister, Jackie Broussard Villejoin and her husband, David. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Touchet Broussard, and his brother, Darrell Broussard. Jeffrey loved his family dearly and loved to make people happy. His life long ambition was to be an oilfield drilling consultant, which he achieved. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed a good day of hunting and fishing, and loved spending time at his camp. A very outgoing person, he was full of life and very giving of all he had. His loud voice and jokes would light up a room. Jeffrey lived his life to the fullest. Every day was a great day to be alive. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. His memories will live on. Pallbearers will be Ryan Gomez, Jeffrey Sizemore, David Dryden, Drew Verret, Adam Cagle, and Eddie Touchstone. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gilbert Bernard, Randell Hebert, David Ardoin, Lamar Guy, Donald Fontenot, and Steve Ballew. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE location on Sunday, August 9 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, August 10 from 8:00 AM until time of service. A Rosary will be prayed Sunday evening at 6:00 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home.
