Leroy Dominguez Rodriguez

September 13, 1963 - February 20, 2022

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at a 2:00 pm Liturgy of the Word in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette, for Leroy D. Rodriguez, 58, who passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette. Deacon Kenneth Soignier will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include his son, Cory Lee Rodriguez and his wife, Jenci; two grandsons, Adrian Rodriguez and Max Rodriguez; his mother, Mary D. Rodriguez; his siblings, Lionel D. Rodriguez, Jr. and his wife, Lisette Henderson, Chris Rodriguez and his wife, Lana, Selena Rodriguez, and Gabriel Rodriguez and his husband, Chris Chastant; and his nieces and nephews, Cy Rodriguez, Seth Rodriguez, Kylee Rodriguez, Ava Rodriguez, and Leo Rodriguez. Leroy was preceded in death by his father, Lionel U. Rodriguez, Sr. Leroy was a native of Fort Stockton, TX and a resident of Lafayette for many years. He attended Northside High School in Lafayette. Leroy worked in the Oilfield industry for most of his career. He enjoyed classic cars, motorcycles, BBQing, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandsons. Lee was a friendly soul who never met a stranger and always had a smile. Honorary Pallbearers will be Adrian Rodriguez, Cy Rodriguez, Seth Rodriguez, Mark Abshire, T-Joe Vincent, and Mark Mouton. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be prayed on Thursday evening at 7:00 pm in Martin & Castille Funeral Home.
