Nelrelie Savoie Bourque

October 7, 1933 - February 18, 2022

Mrs. Nelrelie Savoie Bourque, a native of Mire and a resident of Scott, Louisiana passed away at the age of 88 at12:35 am on Friday, February, 18, 2022 at Encore Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She has been a parishioner of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church for most of her life. As she goes to her eternal resting, Mrs. Bourque leaves behind her four children, Dale Bourque and wife Debbie Menard Bourque, Elaine Bourque Credeur and husband Nathan, Cathy Bourque, and Sheila Bourque Prejean and husband Craig; her nine grandchildren, Brannon Bourque and wife Jaclyn, Rachael C. Sanders and husband, Jeff, Ron Credeur and wife Danielle, Phoebe Hoffpauir and husband Eric, Mandie Clark and husband Terry, Yonnie Melancon, Goldie Melancon, Celeste P. Touchet and husband Chad, and Dexter Prejean; her seventeen great-grandchildren; her three great-great grandchildren; her three brothers, Royland Savoie and wife Margaret, Elvoice Savoie and companion Linda, and Larry Savoie and wife Brenda. She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Pearly Bourque; her parents Leon and Rosa Cormier Savoie; infant brother, Logis Savoie. Pallbearers at the service will be Ron Credeur, Brannon Bourque, Dexter Prejean, Steven Clark, Chad Savoie, and Steve Savoie. Honorary Pallbearers will be Glen Menard, Hunter LeGrange, and Terry Thibodeaux. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 1:30 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home in Scott. Entombment will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Mausoleum. Deacon Cody Miller will conduct the funeral services. Lectors will be Yonnie Melancon, Celeste Touchet, and Phoebe Hoffpauir. Eulogist will be her great-grandson, Even St. Julien. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 11:00 am in Martin & Castille Funeral Home in Scott. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SCOTT location on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of services.
