Nola Gautreaux Domas

Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Nola Gautreaux Domas at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette at the DOWNTOWN location. Mrs. Nola went home to be with the Lord at the age of 82 on Friday, October 2, 2020 at her residence in Lafayette surrounded by her family. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 10:00 AM until time of services at 2:00 PM. A Rosary will be prayed on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Deacon Cody Miller will conduct the funeral services. Mrs. Nola was a woman of great faith and she was a devout Catholic. She enjoyed praying her rosary and attending mass. Grammy, as she was affectionately known, lived to spend time with her grandchildren. Her passion has always been her family and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her and memories of her will be cherished for a lifetime. Left behind to cherish her memories include one daughter, Sheila Domas Grow and her husband Chad; two sons, Karl Domas and his wife Amy, and Richard Domas and his wife Michelle; her grandchildren, Brelan Angelle, Katharine Domas, Matthew Domas, Alex Domas, Leah Domas and Emma Grow. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Mr. Otis Henry Domas, Jr.; and her parents, Andrew Gautreaux, Sr. and Mary Hebert Gautreaux. Pallbearers will be Rick Domas, Karl Domas, Brelan Angelle, Alex Domas and Matte Domas. A heartfelt appreciation is extended by the Domas family to the nurses, staff and doctors of Hope Hospice for their kindness and compassion given to Mrs. Domas and her family during their time of need..
