Preston John Vincent

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 2:00 PM in St. Basil Catholic Church in Judice for Preston John Vincent, who passed away on his 78th birthday, March 20, 2022 at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE location on Friday from 9:00 AM until time of services with a Rosary prayed at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Basil Cemetery. Reverend Steve LeBlanc, Pastor of St. Basil Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include his beloved wife of 57 years, Sandra Hernandez Vincent; his children, Keith Vincent and wife Deana, Karla Richard and husband Donald, and Dana LeBlanc and husband Andy; his grandchildren, Lori Broussard and husband Kenny, Bailey Vincent, Logan Richard, Sydnee Vincent, Noah Vincent, Bethany LeBlanc, Anna Lese LeBlanc, Adley Burke, and Emma Burke; his great-grandson, Ashton Vincent; and his brothers, Roy Vincent, Jules Vincent, Robert Vincent, and Jimmy Vincent. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alcee and Agnes Broussard Vincent; his brothers, Ophe Vincent, Nicholas Vincent, and Francis Vincent; and his sisters, Bernice Picard and Bertha Domec. Preston was a 1962 graduate of Milton High School. He had a long successful career as an electrician in the oilfield, later as an outside sales representative in the oil and gas industry. He enjoyed golfing, gambling, horse racing, and mowing his lawn. But most of all, he cherished spending time with his family the most. Preston never met a stranger, only a friend he hadn't met yet.
