Rose Mary Judice

September 30, 1927 - April 16, 2022

A Celebration of Life for Rosemary Judice will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Lafayette, LA. A private inurnment will be in St. John Cemetery. She passed away April 16, 2022 in Lafayette. We request that family and friends wear masks as well as remain cognizant of social distancing. Rosemary, 94, was a native of Lafayette, a graduate of Lafayette High School, and attended Southwestern Louisiana Institute. She worked for the Debaillon Law Firm and Heritage Art Gallery and was active in the arts community. She enjoyed taking art lessons and her work was shown in local art exhibits. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension and active in The Olive Branch and St. Hilda’s Guild. Survivors include The Rev. Karen King of Troy, Mont., Zona King Barton of Helena, Mont., Mary Judice Finney of New Orleans, Anne Judice Trapp of Baton Rouge, and Jack Judice and Aime’e Judice Monk of Lake Charles as well as numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Aime’e Judice, her brother, John Adam Judice and her sister, Alice Mae Judice King. Memorial contributions can be made in Rosemary’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association. A heartfelt appreciation is extended by the Judice and King families to Sylvia Dejean of Franklin, the staff of Senior Helpers, Acadian Hospice, and Cornerstone at the Ranch.
