Graveside Services will be held, Monday, August 24, 2020 at 10:00 AM in Saint Theresa Catholic Cemetery in Duson, for Delta Delhomme Trahan, 86, who died on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Maison de Lafayette. Entombment will be in Saint Theresa Mausoleum. Deacon Cody Miller will conduct the graveside services. Survivors include two sons, Daniel James Trahan and his wife Linda Lake of New Wavely, TX and David Joseph Trahan and his wife, Patty Bourgeois of Cankton, LA; her companion, Alcee Trahan; two grandchildren, Damon John Trahan of New Wavely, TX and Donovan Jacob Trahan and his wife, Casie Richard of Cankton; four great granchildren, Blaise, Madison, Luke and Paisley Trahan all of Cankton; two sisters, Anna Foreman Savoie of Carencro and Barbara Champagne of Duson; five brothers, Dallas, Preston, Nathan, Paul and Tommy Delhomme. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Murphy Trahan; parents, Mrs. Rita Alleman Delhomme and Mr. Alton Delhomme; three sisters, Evedell Delhomme, Judy Delhomme and Grace Delhomme Comeaux. A resident of Duson Louisiana for all of her life, Mrs. Trahan was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. She loved to garden, sew, cooking and dancing with all her friends. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
