Mary Cormier Boudreaux

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott, for Mary Cormier Boudreaux, 88, who passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. The Boudreaux family will receive guests in Martin & Castille's SCOTT location on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will continue on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 8:00 AM until time of services. A Rosary will be prayed on Thursday, February 10, 2022 evening at 6:00 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery of Scott. Reverend Mark Derise, Pastor of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Scott, will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include her beloved husband of 70 years, Perjice J. Boudreaux, Sr.; her daughter, Charlene Richardson and her husband Charlie; her sons, Sammy Boudreaux and his wife Linda and Perjice Boudreaux, Jr; her five grandchildren, Shane, Lance and Vance Boudreaux, Chantelle and Cory Duhon; her fourteen great-grandchildren, Grant Maxwell, Jill, Amy, Alyssa, Abigail, and Peyton Boudreaux, Jessi Granger, Bryce, Hunter, Logan and Landon Roseberry, Gabrielle and Gaven Lantia and Hayden Duhon; her four great-great grandchildren, Preslee, Grayson, Sophia and Rhett Roseberry; and one sister-in-law, Dorothy Boudreaux. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oledia and Beulah Monceaux Cormier, Sr.; her in-laws, Alpha and Alage Trahan Boudreaux; her brothers, Wilbert and Oledia Cormier, Jr.; one sister, Shirley Cormier Benoit; brother-in-law, Jerry Boudreaux; sister-in-law, Lillian Boudreaux Alleman; and her son-in-law, Rhett Scott Thibodeaux. Mary Cormier Boudreaux worked as a beautician for 34 years and retired in 2003. She enjoyed celebrating her birthdays in her beauty shop with some of her favorite clientele who became very close friends, (Gail Romero, Diane Dubroc, Elsie Judice, Marie Downs, Jeanelle Leger, Jarala Bourque and Gail Flowers). She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and mother-in-law. Mrs. Boudreaux enjoyed spending the holidays with her family and loved going to the casino. Her favorite time of year was crawfish season. She loved boiled crawfish and boiled crabs. Mrs. Boudreaux will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Shane Boudreaux, Lance Boudreaux, Vance Boudreaux, Cory Duhon and her great grandsons, Bryce Roseberry and Hunter Roseberry. Honorary Pallbearers will be her great grandsons, Grant Maxwell, Logan Roseberry, Landon Roseberry, Gaven Lantia and Hayden Duhon. The Boudreaux extends their grateful appreciation to Dr. Darrin Menard and staff, all of the staff at Pelican Pointe Nursing Home, particularly Mr. Todd Cole, Administrator, Dr. LaHasky, Emily Duhon, Nurse Practitioner, and the nursing staff particularly Nicole, Stephanie, Bianca, Jana, all the aids and Tracie (transporter), and Our Lady of Lourdes staff on 5 North and 5 South particularly Monica and Kelly Spurgeon, Nurse Practitioner, Palliative Care, for all the loving care and compassion given to their mother during their time of need.
