Vanessa Estay Clements Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Vanessa Estay Clements at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville. Vanessa was 38 when she passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at her residence in Youngsville. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's Funeral Home, 600 E. Farrel Rd., Lafayette, La 70508, on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will continue on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM. A Rosary will be prayed on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 7:00 PM in Martin & Castille's Funeral Home, 600 E. Farrel Rd., Lafayette, La. 70508. Entombment will be in St. Anne Cemetery. Monsignor Douglas Courville, Pastor of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Berwick, will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include her beloved husband of thirteen years, Christopher Clements and her sons, Alexander and Jackson Clements. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Sheri Estay. Vanessa was native of Houma, a long time resident of Berwick, and a current resident of Youngsville. She was a graduate of Berwick High School and also graduated from University of Louisiana with a Bachelor and a Masters Degree. She was gifted with a heart of compassion and her career path as a special education teacher reflected that. She was a long time educator with St. Mary Parish Schools and she was currently employed with Comeaux High School. Some of her hobbies included cooking and reading. Vanessa's greatest passion in life was doing everything she could to provide for her family and especially making sure her two sons felt loved.
